These terms govern your use of this site. By browsing, registering, or submitting a message, you agree to them.
Acceptance of these terms
By using this site you confirm you accept these terms in full. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.
What this site is
This site is a companion to the I Love You From... public art series. It lets visitors read messages left at each sculpture, and — after registering — submit their own message and photos for a moderator to review before it appears publicly.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to register. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything submitted from your account. Please give us accurate information when you register, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of any message or photo you submit. By submitting it, you confirm you have the right to share it and you grant us a licence to display it on this site (and in QR-code/marketing material for the relevant sculpture) for as long as it remains published. You can edit or delete your own submissions at any time from "My messages."
Acceptable use
When submitting a message or photo, please don't post anything that:
- Is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights
- Harasses, threatens, or expresses hatred towards any person or group
- Sexualises, endangers, or otherwise harms minors
- Is spam, advertising, or unrelated promotional content
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents who you are
- You don't have the right to share, or that identifies someone else without their consent
Moderation
Every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it appears publicly. We may reject, edit, or remove any submission, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, including content that doesn't breach these terms outright but isn't in keeping with the spirit of the project.
Intellectual property
Other than the messages and photos visitors submit (which remain theirs, per above), the site's design, text, and code belong to its operators or their licensors. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.
Donations
You can choose to make a voluntary donation to a place from that place's page. Donations are processed by Stripe, our payment processor - we never receive or store your card details. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable except at our discretion or where required by law, and aren't tax-deductible unless we say otherwise.
Third-party services
Map tiles are loaded directly from OpenStreetMap by your browser when you use the map view, and donation payments are processed by Stripe (see "Donations" above) - each has its own terms and privacy policy that apply to that request. We don't otherwise embed third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
Disclaimer
This site is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not responsible for content submitted by visitors, including anything that slips past moderation.
Suspending or ending your account
You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, without notice where the breach is serious.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
